Preamble
URWISH SAMAJ SEWA SANSTHAN is a voluntary non profit organisation registered on 16 Jan 2015, under the Uttar Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 1860.
It began with the passion and drive of a few like minded people committed to the betterment and empowering vulnerable children, women and youth.
The organisation was registered to extend services and reach the unreached; helping girls’ education, providing vocational training, etc.
Since its inception, URWISH, has been involved in implementing various development projects and training activities.
Sensitisation and awareness through training and capacity building, women empowerment programs and its implementation, environment conservation, informal education for children, vocational training for young women and children for gainful employment without any discrimination of caste creed or religion are the key activities for URWISH.
This has been made possible only through the support of like minded people, donors and partners who believe in URWISH’s work and mission.
Vision
“Education with self employment”. To educate women and children in such a way so as to lead them towards self employment. Explore, promote, disseminate and moreover strengthen the ways to help those who are in need. Keep working for the betterment of others.
Mission
URWISH is committed to work for the holistic development of the society in a manner providing self-reliance and working collectively for social change.
Objective
URWISH believes that all individuals have the right to develop their full potential, while giving back to society. Through our efforts we try and reach out to children, youth and women in need of support. Realising the need for young girls to pursue education our aim is to support and improve employability skills and opportunities, to provide independent individuals.
